Excitement in FX-7EM
Disclaimer: At the moment I have not been briefed on specifics of these incidents so can only report hearsay.
Around the beginning of June Unity Continuum left Supernova Federation. Now corps leave alliances all the time but in this case, UCONT were the owners of the outpost "Poop's Porch" in FX-7EM. At first people didn't notice until someone had to pay a docking fee. CVA command was informed and inquiry's were made but no overt action taken as it was believed from CVA's end that it was simply a mistake or internal SNF matter and that would get sorted.
That proved to be a mistake as on June 4th someone entered CVA-Diplo and point blank asked about the FX system. People who have visited CVA-Diplo on previous occasions might have noticed that we often have KOS individuals from local groups who often idle in our diplo channel for various reasons. These individuals include several prominent -A- members. The report is that within a short time of the situation being mentioned in FX a -a- Supercarrier fleet appeared in system and flipped the renaming it "AAA Providence Freeport"
Provi Holders responded quickly with TSOE deploying a stealthbomber fleet which successfully managed to keep the shields low until a larger region wide-fleet managed to re-flip the outpost and put it firmly back into Supernova Federation hands. At this point the outpost and system is securely in Holders hands.
The exact reasons behind UCONT's actions remain unknown however they have since been declared KOS and are to be shot on site.

Agent Stone released this statement on their Community Site:
After the recent Call to Arms (CTA) we have now achieved another alliance first with the upgrading of SI-I89 VII – Volition Prime from a 35% Refinery to 40% Refinery. It took a lot of isk, work and planning and was only possible from us working together.
Thanks to everyone who has helped directly with logistics and planning as well as those of you who helped indirectly through paying taxes, providing donations or attending alliance operations to give us the military and industrial muscle required.
SI-I89 VII – Volition Prime upgrade is permanent. Not much is permanent in Eve Online, but this outpost can now provide perfect reprocessing because of our efforts. It is a sign of our commitment to Providence and keeps it competitive with the many other upgraded outposts in Providence.

CVA: Alliance Tournament X Update
![]() |
| Sollana - TLOS Director |
In a surprise move CVA nabbed the final tournament spot in the auction the other day.
A statement by TLOS director Sollana stated:
"With all the drama about most alliances not bidding for the last slot available, EQ and Sir Prime, pestered by Sollana and Neddy Fox (team captains) pushed for the last slot. Bidding started and a Bid of 10 plex was posted, immediately the bid was accepted and bidding was closed. EQ wants CVA to put all efforts into this venture after the debacle discussion/ argument that ensued over the potential of participation in Faction warfare."
The debacle mentioned in Sollana's statement refers to several internal discussions that appeared on CVA forums during the last month regarding the changes to Faction Warfare and potential for CVA entering the conflict. Some of the discussion became quite heated, displaying the evident split in positions between many of the old guard with strong loyalists roots and several of the newer major corporations who are firmly nullsecists. While this split has simmered under the surface for several months the faction warfare discussion has forced this to the surface.
With the tournament approaching the FW issue has been officially put on hold as the tourney team ramps up practices and theorycrafting and the alliance begins to focus on preparing for the tournament. However after the tournament it is anybodies guess how this growing rift will be healed.

Fun side note, Equinox Daedalus, TLOS CEO and CVA executor, was podded in the second engagement (http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=13481502). Shonion from Hun Reloaded is the very luck recipient of Equi's bounty which I believe had gone over 500 Million Isk.

Alliance Tournament X . . . or Not
So as usual with the announcement of Alliance Tournament X, a flurry of forum posting, theory crafting, and volunteering happened. Practice runs on sissy were made, new secret forum boards were created, and a general excitement gripped the alliance. Until the 20th, when it was discovered that CVA had failed to sign up in time for the bracket drawings. What happened? According to Equinox, nobody told him the due date for being signed up. This is not the first time this has happened with CVA missing several previous tournaments because of missed due dates.
CVA will once again, be watching from the sidelines.
