Storm of Heresy is upon us

Dear members of the Silent Infinity.  May [triumphant] victory be yours.

As you all know by now  Path of Destruction has declared a sinister war upon us. This war is now known as a Storm of Heresy.

Because of this dreadful sin, we need a defender. This champion shall be Nero Draconian, who is our capital fleet commander. He is now elevated to the rank of Avatar of War during the Storm of Heresy. 

Enemy leader [is] infamous Fastkills, he is known scammer, corp thief and murderer. He is cruel in war and merciless in victory. He does not know however that victory will elude him. Storm of Heresy will be his greatest misdeed and glorious victory will be ours.

All corporations of the Silent Infinity are required to gather a defensive positions and stupid flying is forbidden. Especially those who are unfamiliar with wars shold stay behind our impenetrable borders.

May our Avatar of War defend us in all harm.

DD Disbands, Catch Erupts

Maybe Not so Closed

So after talking with a few people we're going to try to keep Providence News open by popular demand.  As I am personally semi-hostile to the coalition I most likely will not be writing but will be trying to make sure articles, etc are somewhat polished.  Turran Dallocort from Forging Industries, Silent Infinity will be 'taking over' as a writer for now.  If others are interested please send try to connect with me in-game in "Hashu" and or send me an eve-mail.  If I don't know you we may need to work on some temporary stuff at first.

In other news I started an Art0n blog which can be found here if your interested in my current endeavors.  May you not be on the receiving end of them.

Closing of Providence News

In what is a very much pre-meditative move I will be closing down (not doing any more posts) on Provi News.  While my activity and posting had itself disappeared this move is the result of my recent change in corporations.  I am no longer a member of Imperial Dreams of the CVA nor am I member of the Provi Bloc.

These days you can find me with the Arton Crew in Arton, Domain.  Please be wary of dropping by as you will likely get shot.  If you want to chat or have any questions drop into the 'Hashu' channel to catch me.  I may start an Arton blog, who knows.  This site will itself be left open so that previous archives will be available.

Left Providence For Dead Survival Tournament

As Announced Here CVA is hosting a Left 4 Dead 2 Survival Tournament.

THE RULES:
1. A TEAM CONSISTING OF 4 PLAYERS FROM EITHER SAME CORP OR SAME ALLIANCE.
2. A MAP TO BE PICKED ON FRIDAY JAN 10 FROM THE LIST OF BASIC SURVIVAL MAPS THAT COME WITH THE GAME.
3. YOU WILL HAVE FROM FRIDAY JAN 10 UNTIL SUNDAY JAN 12TH (BASICALLY MONDAY MORNING) TO POST A SCREEN SHOT OF YOUR BEST SURVIVAL TIME OF THAT MAP.
4 YOU MAY ONLY BE ON 1 TEAM  (ERGO YOU HAVE 3 PPL TO TEAM UP WITH AND TRY YOUR BEST TO BEAT THE SURVIVAL TIME. I CANNOT HELP IT IF YOU CHOOSE IDIOTS/RETARDS TO DIE WITH  ;D )
5. PRIZES WILL BE HANDED OUT TO 1,2,3 AND 4TH BEST TEAM TIME WISE.
6. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ADD ADDITIONAL RULES AS FOLLOWS, ANY ADDITIONAL INPUT IS WELCOME.
7. THIS IS OPEN TO ALL PROVIDENCE CORPS/ALLIANCES.

Providence Administrative Update for December

KOS-Administrators...

With Gengis Khan retiring Equi has put out a call for volunteers for KOS Admin positions.

We are looking for a few good kos admins.
Prerequisites: 
1. NOT BEING AN IDIOT/RETARD.

2. A TRUSTWORTHY MEMBER OF PROVIDENCE : YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST YOUR CEO/EXEC OF ALLIANCE SPEAK WELL OF YOU.

3. BE PATIENT AND WILLING TO WORK WITH PPL WHO ACTUALLY WANT TO GET OF KOS WHILE WORKING WITH OTHER KOS ADMINS.

4. OTHER LANGUAGES NEEDED AS WELL GERMAN/FRENCH/RUSSIAN WOULD BE USEFUL.

5. TIME : KOS WORK TAKES A BIT OF TIME SO IF YOUR LIKE EQ and already doing A LOT THEN THIS IS NOT THE JOB FOR YOU.

6. POST HERE IF YOUR INTERESTED OR MAIL EQ AND YOU WILL BE INTERVIEWED FOR THE POSITIONS.
NEED ABOUT 2-3 BODIES.

People submitting KOS requests or trying to handle a KOS incedent should keep in mind that we currently have only a single active KOS admin until the new recruits are approved so expect issues and requests to take extra time to be processed.

New Corporations ...

December has seen the addition and loss of several corporations among various Holder members of ProviBloc



Apocalypse Now. saw 5ER3NITY INC (42) depart on the 4th and saw AEF - Vanguard join on the 17th.






Curatores Veritatis Alliance has seen two corporations join during the month of December.  Black Watch Guard (39) joined on the 2nd and Amarrian Micro Devices (53) migrated over from YF on the 17th.





Silent Infinity saw Emperiume Hords of Darklight (7)  and ABBSIDEEIN HORDS of DARKLIGHT (6) depart on the 14th.  They also saw Tag Tax Collection Office (1) join on the 12th, Eternal Tempest (5) join on the 16th and ABBSIDEEIN HORDS of DARKLIGHT (6) rejoin on the 20th.





Yulai Federation saw Amarrian Micro Devices (53) leave for CVA on the 16th and saw Day of Reckoning (34) join on the 16th.
